Steven is a senior consultant at Align BI who has racked up quite a resume over the last 10 years, during which he has been a BI architect for a variety of platforms, including SSAS SAP Business Objects, MIcrosoft BI, and Tableau. Despite his experience on an array of platforms, he considers himself a Tableau evangelist.
When he’s not tearing it up in the world of business intelligence, Steven loves to spend time his wife and 4 kids, during which activities could involve skiing, smoking meats, and cheering for BYU football.
Dan has spent 18 years working in the world of databases and business intelligence. During that time, he has shared his knowledge and experience with numerous local and conferences. While Dan specializes in payroll data, financial and human resources, and medical data, he considers himself a lifelong learner, and strives to learn about new fields, frequently. As such, he brings an insatiable curiosity to every project.
In his spare time, Dan does long-distance running to keep in shape, having completed four marathons and dozens of half marathons over the last decade. He is also passionate about travel, equally enjoying a transoceanic flight or a road trip in Utah's mountains.
Udine is as smart as they come. With a deep background in software development, Udine can do just about anything. His experience with BI revolves around writing solid ETL processes, dealing with huge datasets, and managing a large Microstrategy implementation. Outside of BI, Udine is a skilled web developer who has designed and managed large enterprise web applications.
When he’s not coding up a storm, Udine is tearing up the soccer pitch showing us how to really play. Oh, and he has a mint collection of awesome t-shirts.
We don’t really know how to answer where Daniel’s from, since he grew up internationally. For over 20 years now he has settled in the world of data warehousing and BI, while still supporting companies in several countries.
Though he lives and dies by a multi dimensionally shaped world, Daniel still knows how to think outside the box. His career started out in Finance until the BI bug bit him, exploiting his technical passion along with his business and cultural understanding.
The only downside to gaining valuable BI experience is having to accept the fact that aging is inversely related to his game of soccer and skiing.
Jay’s been doing full-time BI for 17 years now and especially loves building dashboards and busting out predictive analytics. He often geeks out for hours (admittedly days) determining the quotient and building BI systems.
He’s fortunate to have a wife and 4 children who periodically bring him back to at least a somewhat normal state.
When he’s not doing BI, he can often be found playing soccer with his family in the garage they’ve turned into an indoor soccer field thanks to some artificial turf. He should have stopped playing years ago, but no one has the heart to tell him.
